Partner With Us

Becoming a Herralink partner is both essential and rewarding. Our partners help us extend our reach, bringing more volunteers and older adults together, and making a greater impact on the lives of everyone involved.

Who we partner with

Herralink is grateful for the support of our partners across senior living organizations, high schools and colleges to bring volunteers and older adults together.

From helping introduce Herralink to new audiences through newsletters, announcements and speaking opportunities to providing volunteers, donating activity supplies and assisting with field trips and recurring visits, our partners’ support has been essential to making our work possible.

The Herralink partnership experience

Herralink gives senior living communities an easy and rewarding way to bring volunteers and residents together. Volunteers join activities, share conversations and build real connections, while Herralink helps make the experience simple for your team to coordinate. It’s one more way for your residents to stay active, feel included and enjoy the day.

  • Herralink is making a significant and lasting difference in the lives of both the residents and the young volunteers. I wholeheartedly support their mission and encourage others to consider getting involved in this wonderful program. The positive impact Herralink has on the community is invaluable, and I am proud to see this group continue to thrive and grow.

  • These intergenerational connections combat loneliness and isolation among senior citizens, providing them with valuable social interaction and a sense of purpose. For high school students, Herralink offers crucial life lessons in empathy, compassion, and community service.

  • The partnership between St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes and Goodwin Living has been such a great experience for all of those involved. Goodwin Living has been a great partner in imagining possibilities of how we can get our students involved, and keeping an open mind to how we can turn those possibilities into realities. When Herralink joined Goodwin Living, it brought a new energy to the types of programs we could support together, and we were able to sustain regular visits between our Upper School students and the residents of Goodwin House.

  • Our office has seen firsthand the impact this organization has had on the quality of lives of our seniors, and I strongly believe Herralink has and continues to decrease isolationism among seniors in retirement homes, helping them connect with their community, and as a result, it’s creating enormous change across the region.

  • Herralink’s effort to bring intergenerational structure to human connection has made an impact in the Northern Virginia community by engaging students at 32+ high schools and connecting over 2,000 older adults with 600+ volunteers to garner connection and belonging. As an Area Agency on Aging, we understand the importance of such connection, and support Herralink’s efforts to continue expanding their reach to further the quality of intergenerational interaction.
