When you become a volunteer, you bring joy and purpose to an older adult’s day and your own. With one general application, Herralink makes it easy to find opportunities that fit your schedule across our partnering senior living communities.
Ready, set, go
Becoming a Herralink volunteer takes three simple steps. We use Galaxy Digital to manage our activities and volunteers. First, create an account and choose the volunteer type that works best for you. Then, upload any required documents. Your application will be automatically approved, and you’ll be able to sign up for volunteer activities.
Step 1: Create your volunteer account
Create your account on Galaxy Digital and select the volunteer type that best matches your level of commitment. Your volunteer type determines which onboarding requirements you’ll need to complete.
Step 2: Complete your requirements
Complete the required waivers directly through your account. Depending on your volunteer type and age, you may also be asked to complete additional requirements, such as a background check or volunteer training.
Step 3: Find and sign up for activities
Once you’ve completed all the onboarding requirements, your account will be automatically approved. You can then browse and sign up for volunteer activities.
AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
From dedicated volunteer to community leader
The Herralink Ambassador Program trains experienced volunteers to serve as life enrichment aides and take on leadership roles within senior living communities.
Ambassadors support life enrichment teams by leading weekly programming and helping manage volunteers. In this leadership role, they help deliver programs that enrich the lives of older adults.
